Wedding festivities begin at Kapoor’s as Anshula Kapoor preps to tie knot with Rohan Thakkar

Wedding bells are ringing at the Kapoor’s house as elder daughter of Boney Kapoor and late ex-wife, Mona Shourie Kapoor is all set to tie the knot with fiance Rohan Thakkar. The pre-wedding ceremonies began on June 21 in an intimate ceremony with near and dear ones soliciting the occasion. Glimpses from the intimate ceremony are surfacing on the Internet, showing the couple posing alongside Anshula’s brother Arjun Kapoor, sisters Janhvi, Khushi & Shanaya Kapoor.

The joyous gathering reflected the family’s close bond as they came together to celebrate the beginning of a new chapter in Anshula and Rohan’s lives.

Anshula looked radiant in a heavily embroidered beige-and-gold lehenga that perfectly balanced traditional elegance with vibrant touches. She added a striking pop of colour by draping a beautiful Phulkari dupatta over one shoulder, making her festive ensemble stand out. The intricate embellishments, paired with her understated styling, gave her look a graceful and celebratory charm.

Pictures shared by Shanaya Kapoor featured her father, actor Sanjay Kapoor, her mother Maheep, and her younger brother Jahaan. Anshula’s siblings, Arjun Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, and Khushi Kapoor, also attended the pre-wedding celebrations. Sharing the post, Shanaya wrote, “We love you @anshulakapoor @rohanthakkar1511 (heart and evil eye emojis) (sic).” In the photos, the family is seen smiling with everyone dressed in traditional attire.

Anshula Kapoor and Rohan Thakkar first connected via a dating app in 2022. got engaged in October 2025. Rohan proposed to Anshula at 1:15 AM in front of a castle in Central Park—located in her favorite city.
