On Saturday morning, a big blaze occurred at the Porwal Oil Factory in the industrial area of Urla in Raipur, leading to panic among the employees and a massive emergency response. Firefighters and police were called in to the scene after reports of fire, worrying there may be some staff trapped within the facility.

The incident has followed only a few days after a huge fire at a vehicle service centre going on fire on MG Road was brought under control outside the city in Raipur in a several hour span.
