A major event took place in Shirdi, Maharashtra on Saturday. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis jointly inaugurated the defense manufacturing complex of the private company NIBE Group in Shirdi. The most significant event was the launch of India’s first 300-kilometer range rocket launch system, Suryastra.
Rajnath Singh made several important remarks on this occasion. He stated that a country that manufactures its own weapons creates its own destiny. He clearly stated that victory in future wars will be achieved by the country with superior weapons and automation technology, not by the one with a larger army.
