New Delhi: NEET UG 2026 case takes a fresh turn as a handwritten copy of the guess paper surfaced. As the investigation deepened, an alleged handwritten guess paper that was circulated before the examination has now become a flashpoint of the investigation.

An investigation in Pune revealed 60-page handwritten PDF containing Chemistry questions and answers that were later circulated across networks. The questions were recovered from a student’s notebook who attended coaching classes conducted by the accused. Authorities are now scrutinizing the purported handwritten Chemistry notes as investigators widen their probe into the alleged NEET UG 2026 paper leak.

Besides, another probe claimed the leaked material consisted of 400 questions with NEET key hidden within the larger set to avoid suspicion. The PDF allegedly spread through coaching networks in Rajasthan’s Sikar before the controversy surfaced publicly.

The controversy over the paper leak has deepened with the discovery of the handwritten guess paper circulated in the form of a PDF whose questions allegedly matched a large number of questions from the actual paper. Reports suggest nearly 120 to 140 questions overlapped in the final exam paper.

NEET UG 2026 exam was cancelled on May 7 after alleged malpractices was reported. A re-exam will now be held on June 21. Over 23 lakh students appeared for the medical entrance test that was conducted on May 3rd.

So far, CBI after taking over the case from the State police has made 10 arrests.
