Raipur: Union Home Minister Amit Shah will arrive in Raipur today for his visit to Chhattisgarh. He will arrive at Raipur Airport at 8:30 pm and stay overnight at a hotel in Nava Raipur. On May 18th, at 10:30 am, Shah will flag off new Dial-112 vehicles at the Police Parade Ground in Raipur.

He will then arrive in Jagdalpur at 12:20 pm and participate in various programs organized in Bastar. He will inaugurate a public convenience center in Netnar and participate in a folk cultural program organized by the police department in Jagdalpur in the evening. Shah will stay overnight in Jagdalpur.

On May 19th, a meeting of the Central Regional Council will be held in Jagdalpur starting at 11 am, chaired by Union Home Minister Amit Shah. The Chief Ministers of Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Uttar Pradesh will also attend the meeting. This is Amit Shah’s first visit to Bastar since the eradication of Naxalism. A press conference is also scheduled for him after the meeting. After this, Home Minister Shah will leave for Delhi from Jagdalpur at around 3:40 pm.
