New Delhi: The National Testing Agency has officially announced new date for the previously scrapped NEET UG exam. As per the announcement, the re-exam will be held on May June 21st. The agency confirmed that all eligible candidates can appear for the re-exam.
The announcement comes within 3 days of the NTA and the government declaring to scrap the previously conducted NEET UG 2026 exam in the wake of alleged irregularities and concerns over fairness of the examination process.
The NTA has clarified that no new registrations are required to attend the re-exam. Fresh admit cards will be at no additional charges. The revised admit card release date and other important details will be announced soon on official NTA platforms. The agency added that all official information related to the RE-NEET exam date, admit cards, exam centres, and updates will only be released through official channels.
In startling revelations made by CBI on Thursday, an internal link was reported while presenting the case before the Delhi Court. The Delhi Court was hearing the remand of five people who had been arrested in connection with the case, marking it as the first time NTA was officially blamed for an infidete. As per the claim, an intricate channel was involved in leaking the paper, which states that it was first leaked by an unknown “NTA source” to another person based in Pune.
Subsequently, it was forwarded by the latter to Shubham Khairnar, a 30-year-old medical student hailing from Nashik.
