Kolkata: Besides the appointment of Suvendhu Adhikari as the CM of West Bengal, several other leaders of the party were also sworn in as state minsters during the ceremony at Brigade Parade Grounds in Kolkata. With 44 members constituting the cabinet, 5 out of them were sworn in along with the CM.
MLAs Dilip Ghosh, Agnimitra Paul, Ashok Kirtania, Nisith Pramanik and Kshudiram Tudu were inducted into the cabinet. Governor RN Ravi administered the oath of office and secrecy to the newly anointed minsters.

Dilip Ghosh
Ghosh, a veteran BJP leader won the recent elections from Kharagpur Sadar. He played a major role in the expansion of the saffron party in the eastern state since 2014. He has also served as the party president previously. He also represented the Medinipur constituency.
Agnimitra Paul
A fashion designer turned politician Ms Paul retained the Asansol Dakshin assembly with a margin of 40,839 votes. The 51-year-old has served as the president of the BJP Mahila Morcha in the West Bengal. She has also played a role as the party general secretary for the state.
Nisith Pramanik
A former member of the TMC, Nisith Pramanik is a prominent legislator of BJP. He also served as the Home Affairs and Minister of State , Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports in the PM Modi gov becoming the youngest minister at 35. He represents the Rajbanshi and North Bengal of Bengal.
Kshudiram Tudu
Kshudiram Tudu is a tribal leader from Bankura district. He represents Ranibandh aa tribal dominated constituency in Jungle Mahal. His contribution in the party helmed strengthen the tribal outreach in West Bengal.
Ashok Kirtania
Ashok Kirtania belongs to Bangaon Uttar in North 24 Parganas- a Matua influenced political landscape of Bengal. He comes from a business background.
