Indore: The city is preparing to host more than 21 countries in the Agriculture Working Group meeting which will take place in Indore between June 9 and June 13. The event will be hosted in one of the top hotel facilities in the country and will attract agriculture ministers, senior officials, scientists, policymakers, and experts of the world.

During a meeting in Indore, Mohan Yadav and Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan reviewed preparations of the high-profile summit. The Chief Minister stressed that the event would be a great opportunity to demonstrate to the international community the strengths of the state, its cleanliness, vegetation, cultural heritage, and the innovativeness of its agriculture.

It has instructed the authorities to provide the highest standards of arrangements in all the departments such as municipal services, police, tourism, public works and healthcare. Particular attention will be given to beautification of cities, lighting, cleanliness, and improvements in infrastructures. Cultural programs, exhibitions on agriculture, and customised experiences on local cuisine and traditions will also be arranged in welcoming delegates.

The airports and hotels will have multilingual guides who are fluent in languages like the English language, Russian and Turkish languages. They will be organized with traditional Indian welcome ceremonies, such as turbans, tilak, and garlands.

The conference will be organized into two stages; technical discussions among senior officials between June 9 and 11, then ministerial level level of discussions between June 12 and June 13.
