New Delhi: Fear and chaos gripped the North Campus of Delhi University on Monday morning as two of its premier institutions, Ramjas College and Miranda House, were evacuated following separate bomb threat emails.
According to reports citing Delhi Police officials, the threat emails were received by the college administrations early in the day, prompting an immediate suspension of classes and a swift evacuation of students, faculty, and staff.
Upon receiving the alert, Delhi Police moved quickly to secure the area. Bomb Disposal Squads (BDS) and Dog Squads were rushed to both campuses to conduct extensive anti-sabotage checks.
