Ramayana teaser live updates: The ‘Rama glimpse’ of Namit Malhotra’s epic film, Ramayana Part One, has been unveiled on Thursday (April 2), on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti. This marks the formal beginning of the promotions of what is arguably India’s biggest film ever.
Being billed as India’s answer to Lord of the Rings and Avatar, Ramayana will be released in two parts, with a reported combined production budget of ₹4000 crore. Arguably the biggest Bollywood release of 2026, Ramayana is directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra. Part One will release this year.
The film stars Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Yash as Ravana, Sunny Deol as Lord Hanuman, and Ravie Dubey as Lakshmana.
The internet received mixed reactions. WHile some of the comments praised the film, many fans were disappointed.
“Very disappointing 4000cr for this and the Hollywood work for what! The monster in the first couple of scenes looks like it’s from adipurh! No hate guys that’s just the truth,” read a comment.
