Benjamin Netanyahu has declared new warnings towards Iran, and he has made it clear that Israel’s military operations will continue as he deems that the war has not yet ended. This new message by Netanyahu is extremely different than what Donald Trump previously suggested—that the war would have ended within the next few weeks.

Netanyahu clearly communicated that Israel will continue its military actions birth due to Trump’s prediction that the war may soon be coming to an end (two to three weeks). Trump also suggested a reducing of US involvement in the future and assigned the responsibility of assuring vital global routes are secure to regional nations.

The conflict is only just getting started and started back in August, when both the US and Israel bombed Iran, after which time Iran bombed US bases, etc., which had escalated the entire region and continues to do so as time has gone on Bahrain, Saudi Arabia/UAE. Countries in the Gulf region are monitoring the timelines of the war closely, but more particularly with how conditions are changing based upon these military operations.

The Strait of Hormuz, a major route for shipping oil around the globe, continues to face disruptions caused by the war. While Iran has expressed its desire to de-escalate, the competing agendas of the leaders on both sides of the issue have complicated the situation further.

The ongoing evolution of military and diplomatic environments creates an uncertain future for the conflict. The outcome will impact both international markets and geopolitical stability as they relate to this potential flashpoint.
