Raipur: Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai described the state budget being presented for the financial year 2026-27 as an important step towards the overall development of the state and extended his best wishes to the people of the state. He said that this third budget of our government, to be presented in the new Vidhan Sabha building, will provide new strength to the government’s vision for building a developed and prosperous Chhattisgarh.
Chief Minister Sai stated that this budget will advance the state government’s commitment to inclusive development, good governance, and public welfare. He expressed confidence that this budget will play a significant role in strengthening the state’s economy and bringing positive changes to the lives of the common people.
The Chief Minister said that the Chhattisgarh government is working tirelessly towards building a developed Chhattisgarh, centering on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s national resolve of a developed India by 2047. The government has given top priority to the empowerment of farmers, the poor, youth, women, and tribal communities. Various state government schemes are being implemented with the aim of bringing the benefits of development to the last person in society.
Chief Minister Sai said he is confident that this budget for the fiscal year 2026-27 will provide a strong foundation for the state’s “Good Governance through Prosperity” model and further accelerate the pace of development. This budget will provide new direction to the state’s infrastructure, employment generation, agricultural advancement, social security, and human resource development.
