Sagar. All bus operators in Madhya Pradesh will go on strike on March 2nd. This decision was taken at a meeting of the Madhya Pradesh Bus Owners Association.
In protest of the new transport policy and the PPP model, bus operators will go on strike, halting bus operations, starting March 2. Private bus operators from across the state have gathered in Sagar, a protest against the new transport policy.
This decision was taken unanimously at a state-level meeting held in Sagar. Private bus operators will be on an indefinite strike starting March 2nd. The Bus Owners Association has demanded the repeal of the amendment to the Motor Vehicles Act published in the gazette dated 24/12. On the 23rd, they will submit a memorandum at the district level to inform the government of the association’s decision.
