New Delhi: The AI Impact Summit will be held from February 16 to 20 at Bharat Mandapam in the capital, Delhi. Heads of state, ministers, representatives, and heads of international organizations from several countries are expected to participate in this international conference.
Extensive security and traffic arrangements have been made for the event. Traffic will be restricted or affected on several major routes in Delhi to accommodate VIP movement during the conference. According to the traffic police, vehicles not destined for Delhi will be diverted to alternative routes before entering the city. They have been advised to use other routes, including the Eastern Peripheral Expressway and the Western Peripheral Expressway.
Officials said that approximately 10 schools, including board examination centers, are located on the route designated for the movement of prominent figures. To avoid inconvenience to students and parents, alternative routes have been established to reach these schools. Special arrangements have been made in coordination with the Education Department. Traffic police have urged people to review advisories before traveling and use public transportation if possible to avoid traffic jams and inconvenience.
These will be controlled routes.
In view of the AI Impact Summit, traffic will be restricted or affected on several major roads in Delhi between February 16 and 20. Traffic diversions will be implemented on the following routes due to VIP movement and security arrangements: Mathura Road, Subramanian Bharti Marg, Rajesh Pilot Marg, Akbar Road, Teen Murti Marg, Mother Teresa Crescent, Sardar Patel Marg, Janpath, Ferozeshah Road, Shanti Path, Satya Marg, Africa Avenue (from Bhikaji Cama Place to Yashwant Place roundabout), Kamal Ataturk Marg, APJ Abdul Kalam Road, C-Hexagon (near India Gate), Dr. Zakir Hussain Marg, Sikandra Road, Ashoka Road, Prithviraj Road, Kautilya Marg, Purana Qila Road, Sher Shah Suri Marg, Tilak Marg, Bhagwan Das Road, Central Spine Road.
