Kyiv: The Ukraine govt is set to get its new Prosecutor general as President Zelensky has nominated Andriy Kostin, a lawmaker from the president’s Servant of the People party for the post. Zelensky submitted a formal request to parliament to vote to confirm the replacement, sources said. Zelensky also stated that nearly 40,000 Russian soldiers as per the statistics issued Ukrainian defence dept. have been killed and tens of thousands more ” wounded and maimed” since February 24th.
Meanwhile, as the Kremlin re-inforced its militia, six people were wounded in a missile attack on Kharkiv, Mayor Ihor said. He confirmed that two S-300 missiles hit the city’s industrial district in the wee hours of the day. He added that rescue operations have been initiated to evacuate victims from under the rubble.
