Donald Trump was present at the Middle East Peace Summit. While he was delivering a speech, he decided to take a pause and let his new friend, Shehbaz Sharif to speak on the same. This incident between them happened at Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit.
In his speech, Donald Trump spoke about the dignitaries who were present in the Summit. Some of the top dignitaries there included UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto. But among them all, only Sharif was asked to address during the speech.
Donald Trump also talked about Asim Munir, who is the Army Chief of Pakistan. He termed him as his “favourite field marshal,” and went on to call upon Shehbaz Sharif. Trump said to Sharif, “Would you like to say what you said to me the other day? I think it was so nice.”
When Shehbaz Sharif stepped in, he also started praising Donald Trump. He said that Trump has been the reason for global stability these days. Further, Sharif continued, “I believe he is the most genuine and wonderful candidate for the Peace Prize because he has saved millions of lives in South Asia and is now working to bring peace in Gaza.”
