The former U. S President Donald trump and the current President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky are likely to hold a telephone conversation in the near future to discuss encouraging results of their peace initiatives and to determine the ways to prevent further aggressiveness of the Russian Federation. Zelensky has recently qualified a recent attempt on Trump’s life as a ‘’heinous’’. In return Trump said they spoke the same; that they had a very good phone call where he called to congratulate him on the successful Republican National Convention and him accepting the Republican Presidential nomination.
Trump’s Truth Social post focused on the congratulatory message Zelensky sent to him for his nomination mentioning gratitude to Americans for the support and solidarity in these times. Mr. Trump also denounced the assassination attempt and stressed on his intention to ensure the two factions are brought to the negotiating table to resolve this matters. He stands confident to say that, if given another term as the President he could help to bring to an end the hostilities between Russia and Ukraine.
This, Trump said, was the reason he thanked Voldymyr Zelensky President of Ukraine–for a phone call where Zelensky extended to him his greetings: “If I will be your next President of the United States I will make the globe peaceful and stop the war that had claimed lots of lives and ruined the families of the nations involved;” Trump said that, there could be a way to stop the shedding of the bloods and open the way to achieve a happy way of living for both nations.
The former President has been openly responding negatively to the current President Joseph Biden’s management of global issues, especially regarding the fights between Russia and Ukraine or between Israel and the Hamas following the bombardment that occurred on 7th October.
By pointing to his conversation with Zelensky, as well as his statement on the necessity to resolve the Palestinian-Israeli conflict that he plans to discuss with the Ukrainian president, Trump continues asserting international activity and commitment to the settlement of international conflicts as his potential activities if he is re-elected as the US president.
