There were reportedly dead bodies visible on the ground and easily visible bullet holes on the nearby cars, according to video accounts and reports made on the social media.

Another video provided by a local crime reporter depicted the first minutes after the accident, people leaving a car as the law enforcement officers tried to assist. The video also showed rapidly deploying officers to a cordon that would prevent the videographer to approach the wounded too fast before being rebuffed. The individual reported that they were physically two cars away in front of the vehicle that was shot up when they registered the tense situation that the shootout created.

The Midtown North Prevention that acts as a supervisor of Times square is also within 0.7 miles of the crime location and therefore is bound to get the police force response time. Regardless of the swift response, the shooting has again indicated the issue of public safety in one of the most active and popular places of the city.

This is literally weeks after one of the deadliest gun shooting in Manhattan in July when Shane Tamura, a Las Vegas native, waltzed into a midtown building and unleashed bullets killing at least four people.
