Tibet: The search and recovery operation for survivors and victims of the earthquake that hit Tibet in western China continued on Wednesday for the second day in a cold and elevated terrain. The powerful quake destroyed thousands of homes and left 126 people dead and 188 others injured. Inside disaster zones, relief teams also went house to house to comfort the animate, supplying tents, quilts, and other bodies for those whose abodes succumbed to quake or else sharp it unsafe for people underneath.

In the affected districts, initial assessment showed that more than 3600 houses were damaged; 30000 people had to be relocated.
