Kyiv: Cheriniv governor Viacheslav Chaus denounced Russia’s peace promise taking to Telegram on Wednesday. The statement came after the latest round of negotiations set in Istanbul, Turkey, where Russia vowed to reduce its military presence around Kyiv and Chernihiv. “The ‘decreased activity’ in the Chernihiv region was demonstrated by the enemy carrying out strikes on Nizhyn, including airstrikes, and all night long they hit Chernihiv- the message read.
