The Prime Minister also attended the high-level event on Green Credits, where he emphasized the need for a transparent and efficient market mechanism for green credits. He called for the inclusion of developing countries in the design and implementation of such mechanisms.
PM Modi announced the launch of the “Lifestyle for Environment” (LiFE) movement, which aims to promote sustainable living practices around the world. He highlighted the importance of individual actions in combating climate change and urged everyone to adopt eco-friendly lifestyles.
The Prime Minister also launched the “Mission LiFE Global Platform,” a digital platform that will connect individuals, communities, and organizations working on climate action. This platform will serve as a knowledge-sharing hub and facilitate collaboration on sustainable development initiatives.
