New Delhi: According to a survey conducted by the political intelligence company Morning Consult, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has become the most liked leader in the world with an approval rating of above 75%. The survey revealed results based on the approval ratings among 22 nations that it surveyed.

PM Modi is followed by Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, Swiss President Alain Berset among others.

Italy’s Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni is at number four in the list with a rating of 52 per cent and Brazilian President Lula de Silva stands at number 5 in the list with an approval rating of 50 per cent. US President Joe Biden and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau occupied sixth and seventh spot with a common rating of 40%. UK’s Prime minister Rishi Sunak secured 16th spot.

Meanwhile, marking the 100th day of his premiership, UK PM Rishi Sunak said that despite all difficulties he knew he took up the role of PM as he felt it was his ‘dharma’ to help the country. He became prime minister at the time when Europe was at wat, pound tanking up, inflation all time high, and Britain in an economic crisis.
