India: Prime Minister Modi was invited as a keynote speaker to address at VivaTech for its fifth edition. VivaTech is one of the largest digital and start-up events in Europe, and it is held in Paris every year since 2016. It is jointly organised by Publicis Groupe, a prominent advertising and marketing conglomerate, and Les Echo, a leading French media group.
Addressing the gathering virtually, PM Modi emphasized India’s relations with France in sectors like technology and digital entrepreneurship.
Appreciating the start-up commodities of the nation, he highlighted the success of innovations during the pandemic. Addressing global investors; PM Modi invited prominent nations to invest in Talent, Market, Capital, Eco-system and, culture of openness of India to yield fruitful innovations.
`Repair and Prepare’- should be the twin foundations to progress, said Mr Modi. He also said that two Covid vaccines are made in India and more are in the development, trial stage.
Concluding his address, he shed light over the implementation of huge reforms across various sectors like mining, banking and atomic energy.
Several prominent speakers like Mr Emmanuel Macron, President of France, Mr Pedro Sánchez, Prime Minister of Spain and Ministers/MPs from various European countries also were invited to the event.
