Amid the ongoing talks on the India-US trade deal, the NATO chief has threatened India. NATO chief Mark Rutte, the organization of the world’s most powerful nations, has advised India not to do business with Russia. NATO chief Mark Rutte said that the NATO chief threatened India and said – listen… ‘Immediately stop buying crude oil from Russia, or else we are going to impose secondary sanctions. Here secondary sanctions mean 100 percent tariff. Mark Rutte has said that India should pressurize Putin for a ceasefire with Ukraine.

NATO Chief Mark Root held a meeting with US senators on Wednesday. During this, he used non-diplomatic language and advised India, Brazil and China not to do business with Russia. Root warned that if countries like Brazil, China and India continue to do business with Russia, then secondary sanctions can be very heavy on them. These sanctions can be imposed on these countries by America.

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said, “Listen… if you are the President of China, or the Prime Minister of India or the President of Brazil. You are still doing business with the Russians and buying their oil and gas, then you should understand that if the man sitting in Moscow is not taking the peace talks seriously, then I am going to impose secondary sanctions of 100 percent.

“My special encouragement to these three countries is that if you live in Beijing or Delhi, or are the president of Brazil, you should take a look at this, because it could affect you very much,” Rutte said  . “So please call Vladimir Putin and tell him that he has to get serious about peace talks, because otherwise this will have massive adverse effects on Brazil, India and China,” he added .

It is worth noting that Trump has announced a new consignment of weapons to Ukraine against Russia. Trump has also threatened that if Russia does not agree to a peace deal within 50 days, then America will impose 100 percent secondary tariff on countries buying Russian oil. Trump did not name Brazil, China or India in his statement. However, Mark Rutte has clarified the picture.

However, the White House has not yet given any information about the proposed US-India trade deal and what kind of deal it will be. Trump says that the results of his decisions to impose more stringent tariffs are now coming. We have started getting access to the markets of those countries, which we were not able to reach easily till now.
