Joe Biden swore in as the 46th President of the United States on Wednesday with all the big names attending the special event. While Biden became the President, Kamala Harris was sworn in as the Vice President. The event was hosted by superstar Tom Hanks, and it included performances by musicians like Jennifer Lopez, Lady Gaga, Jon Bon Jobi, Justin Timberlake, Demi Lovato, and Ant Clemons. 

Several Hollywood celebrities wished Biden and termed the event as the defining moment for America. Film celebrities are beyond proud after Joe Biden and Kamala Harris were officially handed the keys to the White House on Wednesday. The event officially brought an end to the presidency of Donald Trump after four years of administration.

American actress Anne Hathaway shared two pictures featuring President Biden, vice president Kamala Harris on her Instagram handle and wrote, “I am so, so happy for the Biden Family! I am full of emotions today, and I am grateful and humbled to see a lifetime of service rewarded. Congratulations, Mr. President! #46”. 

Whereas, with another post where she shared a picture of Kamala Harris taking the oath, she noted “I’m not ugly crying, you’re ugly crying. Go @kamalaharris, go!!!! #TheFirstButNotTheLast”.

American singer, songwriter, and actress Ariana Grande also poured her happiness over the new President’s swearing ceremony and shared a series of Instagram stores that featured pictures and clips from President Biden’s inauguration day. Sharing a picture that captured the Biden family and Harris family climbing stairs of the US Capitol venue, she wrote “HOPE”.

At the ceremony, Biden offered a message of unity and restoration to a deeply divided country reeling from a battered economy and a raging coronavirus pandemic that has killed more than 400,000 Americans.
