World: Israel Defence Forces on Thursday claimed that it had ‘neutralized’ all of Hamas’ tunnel network situated in the Gaza strip.
“Hamas has spent the last decade building the ‘Metro’ terror tunnel network. In just 5 days, we neutralized it,” the IDF tweeted. The IDF conducted an overnight airstrike in the Strip, continuing its war against Hamas’s sprawling tunnel network throughout the enclave, stated military personnel.
Meanwhile, the Hamas military sprawled nearly 80 rockets and mortar shells towards the wicked nation between 7 pm on Wednesday to 7 am today. 10 out of them were reported to fall short of Israel’s border and landed in the Palestinian territory.
The defence forces said that around 90 percent of the rockets heading toward populated areas were intercepted by the Iron Dome missile defence system, reported Times of Israel.
As per the reports by Al-Jazeera, 212 Palestinian’s have died in the conflict amongst whom 61 were kids. On Tuesday, the IDF said that they struck nine rocket launch pads throughout Gaza prior to which Gaza fired 3,000 rockets towards Israel, killing 10 people.
