Israel: Eli Cohen, Foreign Minister of Israel, visited India on Tuesday morning for a three-day trip, and it was decided that he’ll return to Israel during the weekends. But unfortunately, due to some security reasons, Eli Cohen has shortened his trip and will head back to Israel just after he meets with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He tweeted regarding the same, saying, “I landed a short time ago in New Delhi, the capital of India, and immediately upon landing, I received a security update. In light of the events in Israel, I decided to cut short the diplomatic visit to India and return to Israel after I met with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which will take place today.”
The media is still not aware of the security reasons, due to which Eli Cohen has to go back. But some reports say that three Israel Jihad Commanders were killed through the overnight air strikes in the northern Gaza area.
Israel Defence Forces have been successful in eliminating Khalid Bahtini, who was the Commande r of these activist groups. A total of 9 Palestinians were also killed, with the three terrorists and the Islamic Jihad seeking to take revenge with rocket attacks.
