On Thursday morning, Israel dropped bombs on a school in Gaza, which turned into a shelter during the war. This tragic moment caused the death of 30 individuals, which even includes several children. This report was given to the media by the local health authorities, which are being controlled by Hamas.
The attack which was done by Israel also increased the air and ground operations towards the central region of Gaza. There are various casualties which have now been reported in that region by the international medical organisation. It has been almost 8 months since the back and forth attacks are being done by both the regions, which started on October 7 assault on Hamas.
The reports from the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, which is located in Deir al-Balah, it has been said that around 30 deaths have taken place due to the school bombing, and six have taken place from the residential strike. Responding to this, the Israeli army said that it targeted the schools as the schools were reported to be run by the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), and it had some Hamas and Islamic Jihads hiding under the same.
The schools provided by the UNRWA have provided shelters to approximately 2.3 million Palestinians during the war conditions against Israel. The military also responded by saying that the attack was done to minimise the civilian deaths, as the aerial forces watched closely to ensure that less damage was done to the civilians.
These strikes occurred in the Nuseirat region, which has been standing as a refugee camp for a long time. Ever since the conflict has started between these two regions, Hamas has claimed over 1200 lives of the Israeli people, while the Israeli army has taken over the lives of approximately 36,000 Palestinians. These reports have been given out by the Gaza Health Ministry.
