World: Indian-origin Justin Narayan won the MasterChef Australia 2021, marking the end of Season 13. The 27-year-old home chef is a pastor by profession. He is the second Indian-origin chef to claim the trophy. Along with the Master Chef trophy Justin Narayan also won a prize money of $2,50,000.
Justin has made everyone proud with his creditable win. He clinched the trophy after defeating the other two finalists, Kishwar Chowdhary and Pete Campbell in the pressure test. After his incredible win, he took to his unverified Instagram account and thanked everyone for supporting him throughout his journey.
The news of Justin’s win was also announced on the official Instagram page of MasterChef Australia. They shared a video of Justin’s reaction to winning the show.
The latest season of MasterChef Australia 13 was much-talked about this year. Apart from Justin Narayan, the show also witnessed Indian-origin Depinder Chhibber who became popular with fans. Kishwer Chowdhury, of the three finalists, created several Indian and Bengali dishes to impress the judges.
The judges of this edition of the show were Australian Chef Andy Allen, Australian TV host and food writer Melissa Leong, and Scottish celebrity chef Jock Zonfrillo. The fitting and creditable comebacks of Justin permeated his journey at the show. A risk taker, Justin is also acclaimed through his journey at the reality show for being a versatile cook.
