Islamabad: Imran Khan has been given a three-day bail by the Islamabad High Court (IHC). The bail has been given to him regarding the Al Qadir Trust Case. This case involves an alleged violation of section 144 during a rally held in Islamabad, as well as accusations of instigating violence after his arrest on May 9. Imran Khan has been directed by the court to approach the relevant accountability court within the same time frame.

Earlier, on May 12, the court had issued a directive to prevent authorities from arresting Imran Khan in various cases, including undisclosed ones, registered throughout the country until May 15. In subsequent hearings, the court extended the restriction on arrest until May 31.

Apart from the Al-Qadir Trust case, the court will also hear additional bail petitions filed by Imran Khan concerning his alleged violation of section 144 during a rally held in Islamabad to express support for the judiciary, as well as the incidents of violence that occurred on May 9. These cases will be addressed after the Al-Qadir Trust case hearing.

All the previous bails which had been given to Imran Khan have already expired. This extension allows Imran to be out of the custody for three days.
