Kyiv: Reacting to accusations of conducting research into the development of biological weapons, Ukraine President in a televised address on Day 16, said-no chemical weapons or any weapon of mass destructions were developed in the country. He warned Russia that the use of such deleterious weapons could bring more sanctions to their identity.
“I am the President of an adequate country, an adequate nation. And the father of two children. And no chemical or any other weapons of mass destruction were developed on my land,” Zelensky said in a video posted on Friday morning.
On the contrary, the enemies confirmed the use of the TOS-1A weapon, which uses thermobaric rockets, creating incendiary and blast like effects. Good news came for Ukraine on Friday morning after a tweet from the Lithuanian President Gitnanas Friday announced that Ukraine was accepted to join the European Union.
According to ground reports, Explosions were reported in Lutsk in northwestern Ukraine, near the Polish border, as well as in Dnipro, a major stronghold in central-eastern Ukraine on Friday morning. In Dnipro, many civilian buildings crumbled as the Russian saboteurs launched airstrikes, where 1 death has been reported so far. The strike in Lutsk compromised an airfield- according to the city’s mayor.
Meanwhile, Moscow on Thursday, said that it would open daily humanitarian corridors to evacuate civilians fleeing fighting in Ukraine to Russian territory, despite Kyiv insisting that no evacuation routes should lead to Kremlin. “Humanitarian corridors towards the Russian Federation will now be opened, without any agreements, every day from 10:00 am,” Defence ministry official Mikhail Mizintsev was quoted as saying by Russian agencies. He said evacuation routes in other directions would proceed “in agreement with the Ukrainian side”.
