Sikkim: Three people from China – two men and a woman – were saved by the Indian Army in north Sikkim on Friday after they lost their direction. In an encouraging gesture, the troop, who “extended a helping hand” additionally offered them food and warm clothes to shield them from the harsh climate in the territory. The three Chinese residents had lost their way “in Plateau territory of North Sikkim at an elevation of 17,500 feet,” an official proclamation said.

Visuals show a trooper conveying oxygen chambers helping the three individuals. Another image shows a warrior offering food to one of the men. The fighters also helped the individuals fix their vehicle.
