A recent report by Informa Connect Academy reveals that the world’s richest man, Elon Musk, is projected to become the first trillionaire by 2027. Musk, the chief executive of Tesla, SpaceX, and former Twitter chief, has seen his wealth increase at an absolute average annual growth rate of 110%. Today, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, he has an unbelievable net worth of $237 billion.
The report also states that the founder and chairman of the Indian industrial conglomerate Adani Group, Gautam Adani, is expected to join Elon Musk in the League of Trillionaires soon. According to the above calculations, Adani’s wealth has been growing at an even faster growth rate of 123% annually. With this trend, he can become the second man to be part of the group of trillionaires by 2028.
For a long time, only eight firms have had a market value of over a trillion dollars; Microsoft, Apple, Nvidia, Alphabet, Amazon, Saudi Aramco, Meta, and Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway, which joined the club recently.
