World report: The advent of the novel coronavirus has created the biggest threat among the masses. Several ideas have been implemented to halt the progress of the novel coronavirus but all seems to be in vain. Several vaccines have been tested and trial but results are yet to be reported to the concerned authority.

The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has tested 26,15,920 samples till now and 1,03,532 samples have been tested in 24 hours.

The World Health Organisation (WHO) has received more than 120 vaccine proposals across the globe. The vaccines are being tested and till now no further confirmation has been added up. WHO has organized many sincere dialogues between researchers. Several conferences, debates and discussions regarding the vaccine trial for the deadly disease are being conducted. There have been several proposals on rapid and robust methods of trial and test of vaccinations. The organization has assembled 300 scientists, developers and funders to collaborate for the successful production of the vaccine.

The Global Target Product Profile (TTP) has proposed two attributes of the vaccine for providing an effective and safe result.  Vaccine for the longer-term protection would support the healthcare workers and officials whereas; another idea has been put forward to produce a vaccine that would work as a response with the onset of the virus.

The US health Department Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority has donated more than $1 billion to develop a vaccine. ‘AstraZeneca’ is currently going through the third trial phase with 30,000 participants. Similarly, another experimental COVID-19 vaccine known as ‘mRNA-1273’ has been going through the first phase of a clinical trial under the US National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease (NIAID), a part of National Institute of Health (NIH). The experiment is being led by Dr Anthony Fauci.

The trial phases of other proposed vaccinations are still on but there has been no positive result so far. Human bodies react differently to every vaccine and the outcome is yet to be seen. Even though some vaccines are promising positive results but the effective vaccine has not been produced till now.
