Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Monday revealed to have been infected with the novel virus for the second time.

“I’ve tested positive for COVID-19. I’ll be following public health guidelines and isolating. I feel okay, but that’s because I got my shots. So, if you haven’t, get vaccinated – and if you can, get boosted,” Trudeau said in a tweet on Monday.

Trudeau added that he felt better since he was vaccinated.

He had earlier tested positive for coronavirus in January this year.

Canada like other nations is working on its travel policies. As per the new rules, any passenger who received at least two doses of the vaccination is considered to be fully vaccinated.
