Sudan: The Sudanese Army and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) have now extended the ceasefire, due to which the cities of Khartoum and Darfur suffer from air strikes. This has even led many International Bodies like WHO to worry about the people living in Sudan.
Due to the war between these two parties, hundreds of people in Sudan have died, and thousands have fled from the region. Earlier, these parties were a part of the Civilian Government in 2021. Now both are fighting against each other, which might even put the country’s growth down the track.
The ceasefire began on Sunday and was expected to end on Thursday. But the Sudanese Army has decided to extend the ceasefire as it will honour them unilaterally. The sources even say that both parties have agreed to another truce beginning on Friday.
The Sudanese Army says they now have control over most of the regions. And they’re also trying their best to defeat a huge number of RSF present in Khartoum. This has even led to some areas in Khartoum becoming war zones.
On the other hand, the 10th batch of 135 Indians have also left Sudan under Operation Kaveri. The Indian Air Force plane which had 246 Indians landed in Mumbai on Thursday, and with the 10th batch, more than 600 Indians have been rescued successfully from the Sudan Crisis.
