Congress MP Shashi Tharoor will lead an all-party delegation to carry India's strong message of zero tolerance against terrorism to the world.
The government on Saturday, 17 May, named Mr Tharoor and six other MPs including two from the opposition and four from the ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA).
The major outreach exercise comes in the wake of Operation Sindoor, following the deadly Terror Attack in Pahalgam on April 22.
Mr Tharoor, a former diplomat, said he was honoured by the invitation of the government of India to lead an all-party delegation to five key capitals.
Besides Shashi Tharoor (Congress), Ravi Shankar Prasad (BJP), Sanjay Kumar Jha (JDU), Shri Baijayant Panda (BJP), Kanimozhi Karunanidhi (DMK), Supriya Sule (NCP) and Shrikant Eknath Shinde (Shiv Sena) will lead the delegations.
