Bollywood: Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh has released a new song on Wednesday dedicating Rihanna, the worldwide popular pop-singer, just a day after she expressed her concern regarding the months-long farmers’ protest in India capital. Dosanjh released the song appreciating the pop star for her extended support and expressed concern for the agitating farmers.

The Punjabi singer announced the release of the song just a few minutes before it was posted on his official YouTube channel. Raj Ranjodh has written the lines for the track, titled RiRi (Rihanna), while Intense Music has given the tune to it, along with the instrumental background. It is a two-minutes-fifteen-seconds song, in which Diljit is heard singing praises on the global icon.

In the prelude of the song, the Punjabi singer describes Barbados, Rihanna’s home country. He is also heard mentioning the regular cliché of beauty in his song, along with promising her to gift some traditional Punjabi clothing. In the interlude, the Punjabi singer, through his awe-inspiring singing, utters how Rihanna is an angel and has descended into the earth from heaven.

Notably, the song was released a day after Rihanna expressed her concern and extended her support towards the farmers agitating at the Delhi borders for months against the three new farm laws that were implemented by the Centre. She also raised a question to the people of India, that why is anyone not talking about it. Contextually, the Punjabi singer too has been supporting the farmers since almost the starting of the protest, and also arrived at the protest site for once.
