Bijapur: The EOW and ACB on Tuesday apprehended Mukesh Kumar Sao a Sub Engineer posted in Nagar Panchayat Bhairamgarh, District-Bijapur while demanding and accepting a bribe.
According to reports, demanded Rs1.30 Lakh from the contractor for facilitating the release of his pending bill for the work executed by him.
Acting on a complaint by the contractor, the vigilance sleuths today apprehended the accused while he was taking the bribes first installement of Rs 50,000.
