NEW DELHI: Reports indicate the mastermind in Sidhu Moosewala’s murder, Goldy Brar who openly claimed the responsibility for the murder is detained by the Californian authorities in the USA.
Brar had uploaded a social media post claiming responsibility for the killing, shortly after the Punjabi singer was declared dead, saying that he had orchestrated the murder as an act of revenge against Moose Wala, who was allegedly involved with a rival gang.
Sources from Indian intelligence have confirmed the detention which hints extradition process to India might begin anytime soon. He will first be presented in front of the court, after which the extradition process is expected to start.
Earlier on Thursday, the Punjabi SIngers father urged the state govt and police to announce a reward of Rs 2 crore in exchange for the whereabouts of the master Brar. Singh who attended a function in Verka asserted that he would give the ‘reward from his pocket if the govt does not have money’.
Sidhu Moosewala was murdered at Jwahrke village in Mansa district on May 29. Goldie Brar who on social media had taken the responsibility of executing the murder was also issued a Red Corner Notice by Interpol earlier this year. it urged all countries to advance his extradition process to India if found on their premises.
