Indian Captain Rohit Sharma moved up by one rank while Hardik Pandya jumped 10 positions in the ICC ODI Rankings on Wednesday. With the latest rejig, Captain Sharma stands at 8th place in the batter’s list while all-rounder Pandya stands at the 76th position. The batting chart was led by Pakistan’s Babar Azam while Mohd Siraj at number 3 was the only Indian in the top 10 bowlers list.
Shubam Gill retained his position. Meanwhile, the Chennai ODI propelled Virat Kohli to seventh place. Afghanistan leg spinner Rashid moved back to the top of the T20 ranking following a victory he helmed over Pakistan in Sharjah. He grabbed the top spot for the first time in his career in February 2018.
Mujeeb-Ur-Rehman another player spinner from Afghanistan moved by 10th position to 8th while fast bowler Fazalhaq Farooqi climbed the ladder by 12 spots to a career best third position.
