Raipur: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive in Raipur on November 28th at around 7:30 pm by special flight. He will stay at the Speaker’s House in Nava Raipur for two nights on November 28th and 29th. He will return to Delhi on November 30th at around 5:30 pm. PM Modi will inaugurate the 60th All India DGP-IGP Conference at the IIM campus and will participate in the two-day conference to brainstorm on several important issues related to internal security.
Apart from Union Home Minister Amit Shah and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, Union Minister of State for Home will also attend this conference.
The entire program is scheduled to be held at the IIM campus in Nava Raipur. The conference will be attended by approximately 300 dignitaries from across the country, including Directors General of Police from states and 20 Directors General and Additional Directors General of Paramilitary Forces. The Chhattisgarh government and administration have been preparing vigorously for this high-profile event for the past three months. Prime Minister Modi may add some new programs during the conference, including a visit to the BJP office (Kushabhau Thakre Complex), although the PMO has not yet given the green light for this.
The police and the state government are putting their efforts into preparing for the DGP conference. Arrangements are being made around Naya Raipur to accommodate officers arriving from across the country. The three-day conference is considered crucial amid the rapid campaign against Naxalites in Chhattisgarh. Besides Naxalism, many other important issues will be discussed in detail.
