Madhya Pradesh: An official from Madhya Pradeshs’ Gwalior city announced on Sunday that police have filed a case against an unnamed man for allegedly engaging in unnatural behaviour with a cow.
According to City Superintendent of Police Ravi Bhadoria, the incident, which happened on August 4 in Deendayal Nagar, was recorded on the CCTV camera installed at a nearby residence. A person was seen engaging in unnatural intercourse with a cow in the CCTV footage, which also went viral on social media.
Later, Nirpat Singh Tomar, the divisional president of the cow protection group Rashtriya Gauraksha Vahini, lodged a complaint.
According to the official, the police have filed a case under Indian Penal Code Section 377 (unnatural offences) against the unnamed person in response to the complaint. He claimed that efforts are being made to find the accused.
This tragedy occurred the same Thursday night, when 55 cows in the Amroha district of the state of Uttar Pradesh died in a cattle shed, pushing the death toll there to 60 by Friday after they ate the supplied hay and became ill.
