Bhopal: A cabinet meeting will be held on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Madhya Pradesh CM Dr Mohan Yadav. In which many important proposals will be discussed. This meeting will be held in the ministry on September 3 at 11 am. All the ministers of the state government will be present in this meeting.
A proposal regarding two new districts Bina and Junnardev may come up in the Mohan Cabinet meeting to be held on Tuesday. The demand to make both of them districts has been going on for a long time. It is being told that the cabinet may approve it. Mohan government can fulfill the 34-year-old demand.
There was a continuous demand to make Bina a district since 1986. Nirmala Sapre, who left Congress and joined BJP, had also made a demand to the government. Also, the cabinet may agree on making Junnardev a district. Apart from this, the government will also take a decision on many other important proposals.
Earlier in October 2023, two new districts, Maihar and Pandhurna, were created in the state of Madhya Pradesh. The Revenue Department had issued the orders for their formation. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had previously announced the creation of these new districts, and the decision was later officially approved. Pandhurna district was formed by merging 74 villages from the Pandhurna tehsil and 137 villages from the Sausar tehsil. This new district is located near the Chhattisgarh border. In the case of Maihar district, it was formed by merging Maihar, Amarpatan, and Ramnagar.
