Lucknow: The Lulu Mall in Lucknow which was inaugurated on July 10th in the presence of State’s Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is making headlines for not-so-positive reasons. A video making rounds on social media show some people offering namaz inside this mall. The video has triggered a controversy in Uttar Pradesh. The video is said to be recorded on July 12th on which a number of Hindu organisations have raised their objections. Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha on Thursday condemned the incident and called for boycotting the Lulu mall by all Hindus.
Hindu Mahasabha National Spokesperson, Shishir Chaturvedi in a statement said that people offered namaz sitting on the floor inside the shopping arena violated an order passed by the Government. The order prohibits offering namaz in public areas. Shishir further stated that he will take up the matter with the Chief Minister and request him to take appropriate actions against the violators while ensuring that such incidents do not happen in the future.
Meanwhile, the Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha has forwarded a written complaint to the Lucknow Police to introspect the viral video and take necessary steps at the earliest.
