Akshay Kumar, R Madhavan, and Ananya Panday’s Kesari Chapter 2 has completed its first week with a decent performance at the box office. Based on early estimates, the film has garnered approximately ₹46.10 crore net in the domestic market after its first seven days. On its seventh day (Thursday), the film is estimated to have earned around ₹3.50 crore.

Worldwide, the film has reportedly grossed ₹74 crore, achieving the ₹75 crore mark on its seventh day. This includes the India gross collection and the overseas earnings.

Comparing its performance to other recent releases:

Jaat: Starring Sunny Deol, Jaat, which was released a week prior to Kesari Chapter 2, has shown a steady performance. After 15 days, the film has earned an estimated ₹80.75 crore net in India. Its worldwide gross collection stands at over ₹100 crore. While Jaat had a stronger opening due to Sunny Deol’s fanbase, Kesari Chapter 2 has sustained well through the weekdays.

Sikandar: Salman Khan’s Sikandar, released earlier, has underperformed compared to expectations. In its second week, it is struggling to add significant numbers to its total. While it had a high opening, the film’s collections dropped considerably in the subsequent days.

In conclusion, Kesari Chapter 2 has had a respectable first week, nearing the ₹50 crore domestic mark. It has performed better than Sikandar in the long run, although it opened lower than Jaat. The coming weekend will be crucial for Kesari Chapter 2 to solidify its position, especially with no major releases until the following Thursday.
