Women’s ODI WC 2025: Australia defeated India by three wickets to regain the top spot. Batting first in a thrilling Women’s World Cup match played in Visakhapatnam on Sunday, India scored 330 runs in 48.5 overs, thanks to a massive 155-run partnership between Pratika Rawal and Smriti Mandhana. In reply, Australia won the match by scoring 331 runs for seven wickets in 49 overs.
Mandhana broke multiple records during her knock. She became the first-ever player in women’s ODIs to score 1000 runs in a calendar year. The southpaw also became the Indian player with most 50-plus scores in Women’s ODIs against Australia.
