Raipur: In a first of its kind, Chhattisgarh state has prepared a 200-bed facility isolation hospital for the asymptomatic persons in the state capital. The Balbir Singh Juneja Indoor Stadium,Raipur has been converted into an isolation hospital.

The isolation hospital has a well-equipped sound system, TV, fan, mobile plug, yoga venue, gym and other entertainment facilities such as chess, ludo, snake & ladder, carrom have been provided in the hospital. Besides the arrangements have also been made to show inspirational and knowledgeable films for healthy entertainment.

Raipuir district chief medical and health officer (CMHO) Meera Baghel, who came for the inspection of the isolation hospital, said that it is not a Quarantine Center, but an Isolation Hospital.

CMHO Baghel said, adding that an asymptomatic corona positive persons will be admitted in an isolation hospital.
The people without symptoms or those who are not in the Danger Zone will be admitted in the isolation hospital so that they cannot stay outside and infect others, the CMHO added.

Meanwhile, DPM Manish Kuamr said that the isolation hospital has been prepared as per the advisory of ministry health and family welfare.  The entire stadium is divided into separate wards. There is a separate section for women and men, officers, employees and medical staff. The isolation hospital will be monitored through CCTV. Apart from this, facilities like chess, carrom, ludo have been provided for the people living with sound systems, TV and fans. Medical staff will be available with all necessary materials.

Meanwhile, Chhattisgarh covid19 count has reached to 1864 including 756 active cases and 1099 people have been recovered from the disease. So far, 9 people have succumbed to death.
