Gidhwa-Parsada Bird Sanctuary to Be Developed As a Top Tourist Hub: Chief Minister Baghel

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel announced that the Gidhwa-Parsada Bird Sanctuary at Bemetara District in Chhattisgarh will soon be developed as a bird sanctuary as well as a topmost tourist destination. The CM has ensured that every possible development and beautification will be done to make it a world-class tourist destination so that it becomes marked on the international map.

“Additional facilities are going to be developed for Indian and Foreigner tourists, nature lovers, and most importantly, ornithologists”, asserted the Chief Minister.

Baghel recently visited the Gidhwa-Parsada Birds Vihar Festival, which takes place every year in an organization with Nagda Village in Bemetara District. He made the announcement whilst his address at the event.

The Gidhwa-Parsada Bird Sanctuary is famous because every year numerous migratory birds fly to this place and stay here between November and March. Notably, earlier, the CM visited the place and captured mind-blowing views of nature and the uncountable species of birds.

The CM, during his announcement, asserted that the Chhattisgarh State Biodiversity Board will constitute a scheme so that the areas around the Gidhwa and Parsada villages, where the migratory birds visit, get conserved. Besides, a bird awareness and training center will be formed in the conservation premises, so that the common people get proper information on the biodiversity of the migratory as well as local birds.

The CM also asserted that the conservation and management of all the wetlands in the state of Chhattisgarh will be managed by the Chhattisgarh State Biodiversity Board.
