Raipur: Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai today graced Yuva Utsav 3.0 organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry at Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium in the capital Raipur. While addressing the audience, he said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given the slogan of self-reliant India and he always says that the youth should become job givers and not job seekers.
“Certainly, the biggest responsibility of making a developed India lies on the youth and the role of youth power of Chhattisgarh is important in achieving this goal”, he further added.
Speaking about the theme of the event, the concept of developed India, he said that the industry is emphasizing skill development and education according to the new age technology and employment needs. In this series, we are now teaching technical subjects like robotics and artificial intelligence to the youth of the tribal-dominated area of the state. He also emphasized on including skill development courses in the schools of the state, to skill children.
During Yuva Utsav, there will be panel discussions on different topics, in which there will be talk about opportunities in entrepreneurship for the youth. Through this initiative of CII and Young Indians, the present and future generations is being inspired to become successful entrepreneurs. In this budget, we have decided to start five CITs along the lines of IITs. He said that our government is creating employment opportunities for the youth on a large scale. Soon, medical staff will be appointed on 650 posts in the health department. A week ago, we have approved recruitment in various posts in the police. On the lines of Nalanda, we are building hi-tech libraries in all urban bodies. We are developing Nava Raipur as an IT hub.
